CLASSES AND FEES
WE WILL BE RUNNING TWO SECTIONS IN A 60×20 ARENA: ONE BE90 (BE 94 2010) on SATURDAY and ONE BE100 (BE105 2011) on SUNDAY. Please indicate if you wish to be entered in those special sections.
BE 100 will run on Saturday and Sunday – please state your preference. The CIC1* dressage will be on Saturday, cross country and show jumping on Sunday. Some BE 90, BE 100 and NOVICE may be required to do day before dressage and in the event of a ballot, preference will be given to those able to do so. Please state on entry form if ABLE to do so.
Competitors in International Classes Only – Please note in addition to your entry fee at the time of entry you will be charged an extra fee of £11.80. This is charged by the FEI for the Worldwide Equine & Human Anti-Doping Program. This fee will be refunded in full if your entry is withdrawn.
Please make cheques payable to FIRLE PLACE HORSE TRIALS LTD. Send entries to the ENTRIES SECRETARY. Separate cheques are required for each horse (with horse’s name on back). Please enclose separate 22cm x 11cm (DL size) SELF SEAL SAE for each horse.
INTERNET entries will be accepted on http://www.bdwp.co.uk/aallen. FAXED entries will NOT be accepted. A WAITING LIST – will be maintained. Please indicate if you WISH to be included in the event of a ballot. Those wait listed will be notified immediately a space is available. If you do not compete your entry fee will be refunded.
WITHDRAWALS by 16/08/2016 12:00 AM by telephoning 07802 534837. REFUND POLICY – 100% refund for withdrawals before ballot date. 100% refund (minus a £10 admin fee as per the BE Rule Book) for withdrawals after the ballot date if replaced. 100% refund for withdrawals after the ballot date if the competitor gives one full day’s help at the event.

OWNER/RIDER Sponsors’ section: One Novice section will be a sponsors’ section – with a special prize for the winning combination including the Christine Scott Bronze Memorial Trophy. Please state if you wish to be entered.
Local Rider BE90 Section: trophy and £60 prize money for winner – living within 20 miles of Firle. Please state if you wish to be entered
The Mitsubishi Motors Cup BE90 and BE100 Regional Final.
Firle Place International 40th Anniversary Glasses to tenth place in all sections.
SPECIAL PRIZES: THE SOUTH EAST EVENTERS LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL TROPHY, presented to the highest placed rider registered with SEEL in the CIC1*.
The Vice Versa Trophy: Highest placed BE 100 Rider over 40 on Sunday.
Owner/Rider Novice: The Christine Scott Bronze Memorial Trophy
The course will make the most of the parkland. A mix of permanent and portable Willis Brothers fences, changed and refreshed every year, it runs over undulating old parkland turf in the South Downs National Park, with excellent viewing. The BE Agrivators are booked and we ensure good landing and take-offs. The fences are built to be solid and inviting with alternatives if required.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
A wide variety of refreshments available throughout the event – with the addition of local food stalls on Sunday.

ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES/MOTORCYCLES will not be permitted. DOGS must be kept on leads at all times unless actually racing or in the dog show!

COUNTRY FAIR & DOG FESTIVAL
The event has a very family friendly approach, and the Country Fair and Dog Festival are on Sunday are open to all with over 100 trade stands and a wide range of ‘have a go’ dog events – from Dog Agility, Gundog Scurry, Kennel Club dog show and Bronze awards, to terrier racing and show, lurcher show and longdog racing. Plus the Wealden Craft Fair and a Food Market. Entertainment for the whole family and the dogs, so bring them all along!
The course will be open for schooling for two days after the event, depending on the weather. Please book in with the secretary or email firstname.lastname@example.org. ENTRANCE POLICY – Each car displaying a current BE membership card will be admitted including all occupants.
